Clippers' Jamal Crawford: Signs three-year deal with the Clippers
Crawford has agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal with the Clippers, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
Analysis:
The long-time sixth-man will return to a Clippers team that may have generated much more noise in the 2016 NBA playoffs if not for a few untimely injuries. At 36-years-old, it seems likely that this will be Crawford's last contract and likely again his last stint with an NBA team barring a trade. While at an advanced age, Crawford is far from a bench warmer, as he averaged 14.2 points, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game during the 2016-17 season for the Clippers.
