The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of a long list of suitors making a push to sign All-Star free agent big man Pau Gasol, and to stand out from the pack, they're apparently willing to make a whopping offer.

Minnesota has made an "aggressive" two-year offer to Gasol, a source told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears.

The two parties reportedly met for a "long talk" Friday at the beginning of free agency.

With former Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau now both Timberwolves coach and president of basketball operations, he's apparently interested in bringing in some of his former players. Joakim Noah and Luol Deng are on their way to the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers, respectively, leaving Gasol as the big prize still remaining on the market.

The San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, and Toronto Raptors are also reportedly alive in the Gasol sweepstakes.

Gasol averaged 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and two blocks while starting 72 games for the Bulls during the 2015-16 campaign.
