The Memphis Grizzlies reached an agreement to sign unrestricted free agent James Ennis.

The 26-year-old forward will earn $6 million over a two-year deal, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.

Since being drafted 50th overall in 2013, Ennis has rarely seen the floor as he's made only 84 appearances in the past two campaigns. In his limited time on the court, Ennis primarily served as a catch-and-shoot wing with some decent ability to slash.

Ennis got his chance to shine in a nine-game stretch with the New Orleans Pelicans last season. He averaged 15.9 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from deep for an injury-wrecked Pelicans squad.

Memphis previously acquired Ennis in a trade with the Miami Heat in 2015-16. He was waived by the team, and spent time in the D-League before latching on with the Pelicans.
