Knicks, Courtney Lee agree to 4-year, $48M deal

The New York Knicks have agreed to a four-year, $48-million deal with shooting guard Courtney Lee. There are no options in the contract, meaning all four years are guaranteed.
New York was in need of a starting shooting guard, having lost Arron Afflalo to the Sacramento Kings earlier on Saturday.
Lee spent time with both the Memphis Grizzlies and Charlotte Hornets this past season, averaging 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 steals on 45.4 percent shooting in 79 games.
A career 38.4 percent shooter from deep, Lee should help a Knicks team who ranked just 20th in three-point percentage this past season.
With Lee now in the Big Apple, it appears likely the Knicks will back off their pursuit of unrestricted free-agent Eric Gordon.
