Report: Rockets to meet with Eric Gordon on Saturday

The Houston Rockets' free-agent spending spree doesn't appear to be over.

After reportedly agreeing to a four-year, $80-million deal with Ryan Anderson earlier on Saturday, the Rockets will now meet with unrestricted free agent Eric Gordon, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reports, citing sources.

Should Gordon land in Houston, head coach Mike D'Antoni would be handed yet another offensive-minded player he could plug into his run-and-gun system.

In eight NBA seasons, the 27-year-old has averaged 16.6 points, 2.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds on 41 percent shooting and 38.3 percent from three.

With James Harden positioned as the team's starting shooting guard, Gordon would likely come off the bench if he were to sign with the Rockets.
