Booker, Nets agree to terms on 2-year, $18.5M contract

Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

The Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement with unrestricted free-agent power forward Trevor Booker.

The deal will pay Booker approximately $18.5 million over two years.

Booker, who spent the last two seasons with the Utah Jazz, could be one of the value plays of this summer's free agency. A strong rebounder with toughness around the basket despite being somewhat undersized, Booker averaged 5.7 rebounds and 5.9 points in just over 20 minutes per game in 2015-16.
