Report: Timberwolves, Nuggets interested in Haslem

A pair of rebuilding teams are in the market for some veteran leadership.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets have expressed interest in free-agent power forward Udonis Haslem, reports Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald.

Haslem has spent the entirety of his 13-year career with the Miami Heat after joining the franchise as an undrafted rookie. He's the franchise leader in rebounds, and, along with Dwyane Wade, has been pivotal in instilling a championship culture in South Beach.

The 36-year-old rarely played last season, but that's hardly the point. The Timberwolves and Nuggets are both stockpiled with plenty of young talent, and are undoubtedly looking to Haslem for mentorship, not production.
