Report: Sixers interested in UFA Rajon Rondo

The Philadelphia 76ers are interested in signing unrestricted free agent Rajon Rondo, a source told ESPN's Marc J. Spears.
The Sixers reportedly agreed to a three-year, $27-million deal with Jerryd Bayless on Friday, but may prefer a more accomplished starter to run the point. Philadelphia has just over $33 million in salaries committed for next season, so they certainly have the cap space to get a deal done.
The 30-year-old averaged 11.9 points, 11.7 assists, six rebounds, and two steals in 72 games for the Sacramento Kings in 2015-16.
Rondo reportedly met with the Chicago Bulls on Friday, who are also looking to upgrade at the point guard position.
