Report: Pelicans, E'Twaun Moore agree to 4-year, $34M deal

The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a four-year, $34-million contract with guard E'Twaun Moore, ESPN's Marc J. Spears reports. There are no options on Moore's deal, according to Scott Kushner of The New Orleans Advocate, meaning the deal is fully guaranteed.

Moore averaged 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on 48.1 percent shooting in 59 games this past season. The 26-year-old was particularly lethal from beyond the arc, hitting 45.2 percent of his 3-point attempts.

Moore fills a need for New Orleans with guard Eric Gordon possibly leaving The Big Easy this summer.

The Pelicans have been relatively busy during the opening day of free agency, reportedly agreeing to a four-year contract with Solomon Hill earlier Friday.
