The Brooklyn Nets agreed to a two-year, $6-million contract with free-agent center Justin Hamilton, The Vertical's Shams Charania reports, citing league sources. Both years of the deal are guaranteed, according to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports.

Hamilton last played in the NBA during the 2014-15, spending time with both the Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves. In 41 games, the 26-year-old averaged 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks on 47.8 percent shooting.

Hamilton spent last season with Valencia Basket of Spain.

The California native was chosen by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 45th selection in the 2012 draft.
