Bryan Colangelo finally got his point guard.

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent Jerryd Bayless on a three-year, $27-million deal, a source told Jon Krawczynski of The Associated Press.

Bayless, who was once acquired by Colangelo during his tenure with the Toronto Raptors, is coming off a strong campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks in which he averaged 10.4 points per game while shooting 43.7 percent from deep.

The 27-year-old first entered the league as an inefficient slashing combo guard, but his refined jump shot has turned him into an effective bench option at either backcourt position.

Bayless figures to slot in as the Sixers' starting point guard, although the team still has more than $55 million in cap room to continue adding pieces to their young core.
