Report: Parsons to meet with Blazers, Lillard

Likely not long after NBA free agency tips off at midnight July 1, unrestricted free agent forward Chandler Parsons will be chatting it up with the Portland Trail Blazers, sources told Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes.

Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard will reportedly also be present.

In Game 6 of the opening round of the 2014 NBA playoffs between Portland and the Houston Rockets, Lillard sank a 3-pointer over an outstretched Parsons to clinch the series win.

Other teams reportedly interested in coming to terms with the 27-year-old are the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers, and Orlando Magic.

The chances of Parsons returning to the Dallas Mavericks for a third season look slim, as there's reportedly "no chance" he'll re-sign.

Parsons averaged 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 29.5 minutes while shooting 49.2 percent from the field in 61 appearances last season.
