The Detroit Pistons have found a taker for Jodie Meeks.

Just days after making the shooting guard available, the Pistons traded Meeks to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in exchange for a future second-round pick.

The pick will reportedly come in 2019, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Trading Meeks and the remaining $6.5 million on his deal affords the Pistons more room to sign a backup point guard and power forward.

The 28-year-old appeared in just three games for Detroit last season after suffering a non-displaced fracture in his right foot in October. Over the last three seasons, Meeks is averaging 13.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 140 games.

Meeks addresses a need at shooting guard for the Magic after trading away Victor Oladipo last week.
