If the Golden State Warriors undergo any offseason reshuffling, whether it's to fine-tune a 73-win roster that fell short in the NBA Finals or to clear up space to make a run at Kevin Durant, it won't involve parting ways with Shaun Livingston.

The Warriors plan to pick up Livingston's $5.7-million team option for the 2016-17 season, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein and Marc Spears.

The team could save $2.7 million if Livingston were to be released by Thursday.

"I would love to be back with the Warriors next year and feel there is something special cultivating with the organization," Livingston said via text message. "The time spent there has allowed me the platform to see the ingredients of winning and the importance of culture."

The 30-year-old backup guard averaged 8.2 points and 3.3 assists in 21.4 minutes during Golden State's postseason run.
