Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Will suit up for Brooklyn in summer league

Hollis-Jefferson will play for the Nets during the summer league, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Since a broken right ankle limited Hollis-Jefferson to just 29 appearances as a rookie, he should get plenty of run during the summer league while new Nets coach Kenny Atkinson gets a first-hand look at the forward's skills. At just 21 years old, Hollis-Jefferson already profiles as one of the league's better perimeter defenders, but on a Nets squad short on talent, he may need to take on more of a scoring role in his second season. Further developing a three-point shot may be imperative to any dramatic rise in offensive output that Hollis-Jefferson notices in 2016-17, as he hit just 28.6 percent of his tries from distances last season.
