The Orlando Magic extended qualifying offers to center Dewayne Dedmon and small forward Evan Fournier on Wednesday.

With the move, the Magic own the rights to match any offer sheet either player could potentially sign when free agency opens Friday.

Dedmon, 26, appeared in 58 games (20 starts) last season, averaging 4.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 12.2 minutes.

Fournier, 23, started 71 games for the Magic last season. He averaged a career-high 15.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 32.5 minutes over 79 total games.

Power forward Andrew Nicholson did not receive a qualifying offer and will become and unrestricted free agent.
