While many contenders will be spending the NBA offseason trying to land the summer's biggest free agents, Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin will be working to keep his championship roster intact.

"We intend to keep this group together and see what we're capable of," Griffin told Marc Stein on ESPN Radio.

Griffin's comments reiterate Tyronn Lue's assertion that the Cavaliers will not look to move Kevin Love this summer. The 6-foot-10 forward has found himself immersed in trade rumors since his arrival in 2014, but now appears to be a part of Cleveland's long-term plan.

With the majority of their core already locked in long-term and LeBron James almost certain to stay, Griffin and company will likely turn their attention to re-signing rotation players J.R. Smith, Matthew Dellavedova, and Richard Jefferson when free agency commences next week.
