Nuggets' Malik Beasley: Selected No. 19 overall by Nuggets

Beasley was selected by the Nuggets with the 19th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Analysis:

Beasley is an extremely efficient scorer, posting 15.6 points per game during his freshman season at Florida State, while shooting a very respectable 47 percent from the field and 39 percent from the three-point line. At 6-foot-5, he's also an athletic player and has the ability to create his own shot, which keeps defenders on their heels and should translate well to the NBA game. With the Nuggets also taking Jamal Murray earlier in the first round and with Gary Harris and Will Barton expected to remain a part of coach Michael Malone's rotation, Beasley could find minutes hard to come by as a rookie.
