Clippers' Chris Paul: Fully recovered from broken hand

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said Thursday that Paul is fully recovered from his broken right hand, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Paul and Blake Griffin (quad) both suffered untimely injuries in Game 4 of the Clippers' first-round playoff matchup with the Trail Blazers, resulting in the dynamic duo missing the rest of the series as the Blazers came back from a 2-1 deficit to win in six games. While Paul is back to 100 percent health, he's already opted out from suiting up for the United States team in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, instead turning his attention to preparing for the upcoming campaign for the Clippers. Even with Griffin, his top running mate, missing most of the 2015-16 due to injury, Paul still turned in another excellent campaign, finishing with averages of 19.5 points, 10.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.6 three-pointers across 32.7 minutes per game.
