Cavaliers' LeBron James: Opts out of Olympic games

James won't play for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

In a widely expected move, James joins a slew of American players electing to sit out the Games. James is coming off a very long season that ended with his third NBA championship, so he'll take some time off to get a much-needed break from the grind. James has already stated he'll be back with the Cavaliers next season, so the Finals MVP can keep his focus on preparing for another title run in 2016-17.
