Mavericks' Devin Harris: Making good progress from thumb, toe surgeries

Harris said Tuesday that his left thumb is fully healed, and he's no longer wearing a walking boot on his left foot following surgery to repair his big toe, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Harris will wear a brace on his hand for the next two weeks as a precaution, but he's otherwise fully recovered from surgery to repair a ligament in the thumb. He's a bit further behind in his recovery from the toe procedure, but now that the boot is off, Harris could soon be cleared to resume running. The veteran point guard should be fully healthy well before training camp begins.
