TV show calls Kermit 'tea lizard' in Crying Jordan comparison

The perceived disappointment in the quality of Crying Jordan memes in the wake of the Golden State Warriors' NBA Finals loss hasn't stopped ABC's "Good Morning America" from diving into deep questions about its place in the pop culture ranks.

Specifically, they were wondering if the image of LeBron James crying is comparable.

Never mind that it isn't even really a meme, other items in the discussion stand out.

Yes, that's the popular Kermit Drinking Tea meme - embraced by James - referred to as "hash tag tea lizard." Also, "smockin" is an apparently misspelled reference to "smoking," from the 1994 Jim Carrey movie "The Mask."
