Green reportedly accepted the invitation before the Warriors' disappointing series loss to the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, but with a few weeks to rest up before the U.S. team begins training, the versatile big man should be raring to go. After earning second-team all-NBA and first-team all-defense honors in the regular season, Green finished the playoffs with averages of 15.4 points (on 43.1% shooting from the field), 9.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.6 steals across 38.2 minutes in 23 appearances.
