The Indiana Pacers selected Iowa State's Georges Niang with the 50th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

While not the greatest athlete, Niang is one of the most offensively skilled players in the draft, and could find a home in the NBA with his efficient play and deft decision-making.

After a disappointing 2014-15 campaign, Niang improved tremendously this past season, earning the Karl Malone Award as the nation's top power forward.

At 6-foot-8, Niang is undersized as a NBA power forward, and doesn't have the quickness or athleticism to play small forward in the pros. He was a solid defender in college, but his lack of explosiveness could lead to him struggling at the next level.
