Udonis Haslem is confident Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh will return next season.

"He said he feels good, actually said he feels great," Haslem told the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman. "That was his exact words, 'I feel great.'"

Bosh last played a NBA game Feb. 9 before suffering a recurrence of the life-threatening blood clots that also derailed his 2014-15 campaign. The issue has now cost Bosh the second halves of the last two seasons, and while nothing of the sort has been suggested publicly from the involved camps, the career-threatening aspect of the situation is a real concern.

Heat president Pat Riley called Bosh's medical condition the team's "X-factor" this summer.

"We plan to get a couple of workouts together," Haslem said of his meeting with Bosh. "Like I've said, I already started my workouts. We talked about getting some workouts together, spending some time together this summer out there in L.A."

Haslem may not be back with the Heat himself, however. Alongside Dwyane Wade, the 36-year-old is the team's longest-tenured player. The Miami native becomes a free agent July 1, and told the Sun Sentinel he wants to play at least three more years.
