Bogut feels Cavs management tried to get Green suspended

The Golden State Warriors will be without the services of Draymond Green for Game 5 of the NBA Finals and center Andrew Bogut is none too pleased.

A one-game suspension was issued to Green as a result of accumulating too many flagrant foul points over the course of the Warriors' postseason run. The All-Star forward was issued a flagrant-1 foul by the league for striking LeBron James below the belt in Game 4,

Bogut believes the NBA's decision to hand down the flagrant was influenced by certain members of the Cavaliers organization to prevent one of Golden States' better players from suiting up in a title-clinching game.

"There's a strategy outside the court with coaches and GMs and all that kind of stuff. They played their strategy very, very well," Bogut said Sunday, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. "They did what they had to do and they got one of our guys out."

Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue was vocal following Cleveland's Game 4 loss about how the officials fail to whistle fouls on James, which he eventually received a $25,000 fine for doing. While not specifically naming Lue, Bogut feels as though Cleveland whines too much about not having calls go its way.

"I've never heard a team complain about officiating when they shoot more free throws over the course of four games," Bogut said. "I could be bad at math, but typically that means they're getting more calls than us."

Through the first four games, Golden State has converted 58-of-77 efforts from the charity stripe with 81 total personal fouls. Cleveland has picked up four more fouls (85), while getting to the free-throw line 10 more times (61-of-87).
