Clippers select Brice Johnson with No. 25 pick in NBA Draft

The Los Angeles Clippers selected North Carolina's Brice Johnson with the No. 25 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Los Angeles badly needed depth at power forward with Jeff Green and Luc Mbah a Moute set to become unrestricted free agents this summer.

A tremendous leaper, Johnson relies on hustle and athleticism for the majority of his baskets. While his overall game is still fairly raw, Johnson is still a very efficient scorer, using a series of put backs and easy dunks to generate offense.

The 21-year-old improved tremendously through his four-year college career, particularly on the offensive end, leading the Tar Heels in scoring as a senior.

Johnson will need to develop a reliable mid-range game to become a more dangerous offensive player at the next level. A 6-foot-9 forward with a 6-foot-11 wingspan, Johnson must continue to use his athleticism as a weapon to succeed as a pro.
