Nuggets select Juan Hernangomez 15th overall

The Denver Nuggets selected Movistar Estudiantes's Juan Hernangomez with the 15th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Hernangomez should feel right at home playing alongside several other European talents in Jusif Nurkic, Danilo Gallinari, Nikola Jokic, and Joffrey Lauvergne in the Mile High City. Playing time may be hard to come by to begin the season, though.

At 6-foot-9 and 225 pounds, Hernangomez has both the size and strength necessary to play either forward position in the NBA. While still raw, Henangomez has a strong set of physical tools, and has decent potential due to his athleticism and quickness.

Hernangomez is a capable shooter, but struggles to create his own shot, and will likely need to develop a more lethal stroke from beyond the arc to excel offensively at the pro level.
