After a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Los Angeles Clippers have selected Maryland's Diamond Stone with the 40th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Besides having what may be the best name in this year's draft class, Stone is built like a tank at 6-foot-10 and 255 pounds with a 7-foot-3 wingspan, which helps with his confidence when he's operating with his back to the basket. Post-ups took up 35 percent of his possessions, according to Synergy Sports.

He won't be able to assert himself in the paint to the degree he did with the Terrapins, which may throw him for a loop since he's so used to having the ball dumped down low to him and not feeding it back out.

Stone will also have to prove he can adapt to a modern NBA game where teams rarely run their offenses through centers. That could be rough for a player who's not overly athletic and will need to be productive in other ways to stay on the floor.
