Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Starting Game 7

Iguodala will start at small forward in Monday's Game 7 against the Thunder, Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Iguodala replaced Harrison Barnes in the starting lineup for the second half of Saturday's Game 6 win, but it wasn't expected that the Warriors would stick with the same arrangement for Game 7. However, coach Steve Kerr has evidently determined that keeping Iguodala on the floor right away might be the optimal approach to help prevent the Thunder from getting out to a hot start, as Iguodala has often helped stymie Kevin Durant during their previous matchups in the series. Iguodala had already been seeing more minutes than Barnes, and that discrepancy should only be greater in Game 7 now that Iguodala has been confirmed as the starter.
