Thunder-Warriors Game 7 tickets most expensive in conference finals history

If you purchased tickets for Game 7 of the Western Conference finals between the Golden State Warriors and visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, chances are you paid quite a hefty sum to secure your seats.

The average ticket price for the winner-take-all matchup is a costly $960, making it the most expensive for a conference finals game ever, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

In fact, only one NBA Finals game in league history can attest to having a higher average cost, with tickets for Game 7 between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs in 2013 going for $1,346.

The cheapest same-day tickets along the second-level baseline at Oracle Arena are going for just under $350 on TiqIQ, while the priciest seats at courtside center come in at over $5,500.

A die-hard NBA fan recently shelled out $29,000 each for two floor seats off of the Warriors' resale website, while another dropped $10,000 for a second-row seat off of StubHub.

Here's hoping everyone in attendance gets their moneys' worth as the Warriors and Thunder decide who will square off against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
