Warriors' Stephen Curry: Team-high scoring staves off elimination

Curry scored a team-high 31 points (9-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 10-10 FT) to go with seven rebounds, six assists and five steals in Thursday's 120-111 win over the Thunder in Game 5 of the series.

Analysis:

Amid reports that Curry isn't 100 percent healthy -- one claiming he was around 70 percent -- the point guard responded by scoring a series-high 31 points and turned up the defense in the fourth quarter, blocking a Kevin Durant shot and later stealing the ball from him. In some respect, the elbow, ankle and knee injuries he's dealt with the past few weeks has impacted him. Curry's shooting marks from the field and from three-point range in the postseason are well below percentages from the regular season, but that just brings the two-time MVP back to mere mortal levels.
