Cavs' Jones suspended; Raptors coach Casey fined

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dahntay Jones was suspended one game for striking Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo during Saturday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the NBA announced Sunday.

Jones struck Biyombo in the groin with 17.6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of Toronto's 99-84 win.

The 35-year-old reserve has played sparingly during the series, scoring just two points in three games.

The league also fined Raptors head coach Dwane Casey $25,000 for his public criticism of officials Saturday.

"I said it before the game. We have the greatest officials in the league. But how you can miss fouls like that and calls like that," Casey said in Saturday's postgame press conference. "I can't see it. I've been in this league a long time, in college basketball a long time, but again, there's got to be consistency. The same foul on one end has got to be the same foul on the other.

"I've been on both sides of it. I've been where the whistle has been in favor of you. But for whatever reason -- and I understand we have great officials, and it's a hard game to call -- but some of these fouls are unbelievable."

Cleveland leads the best-of-seven series 2-1.
