Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas: Upgraded to gametime decision

Valanciunas (ankle) has been upgraded to a game-time decision for Monday's Game 4 tilt with the Cavaliers, Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

This news comes as a bit of a surprise, as Valanciunas was listed as doubtful Sunday, despite doing some on-court work that day. However, after the center was able to go through morning shootaround, coach Dwane Casey was unwilling to close the door on Valanciunas returning after a seven-game absence. Although his right ankle is still undoubtedly sore, Valanciunas could be able to talk his way into playing when the Raptors reevalute him closer to shootaround. Even if he's active, Valanciunas may end up seeing fewer minutes than Bismack Biyombo, who was a force on the boards with 26 rebounds in Game 3.
