New mini-documentary tells story of Crying Jordan meme

It was only a matter of time before the Crying Jordan meme got its own documentary.

In "2 Point Lead: Behind the Crying Jordan Meme," AOL.com looks at how a photo of Michael Jordan crying became the social media phenomenon it is today. The mini-documentary includes interviews with ESPN analyst Jay Williams, DJ Gallo of SportsPickle, and The Associated Press photographer Stephen Savoia, who took the original shot.

Savoia doesn't seem at all bothered by what his photo has become.

"I kind of think it's great that people can take things that happened to them in life and add a moment to it that kind of makes it a little lighter, somewhat humorous, and something that we can all relate to," he said. "I think it's going to be around for a long time."
