Kerr: Nobody told me Curry's health only at 70 percent

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr continues to claim that Stephen Curry's struggles aren't the result of any injury.

"He may just not be quite where he needs to be, but it's not an injury," Kerr told reporters Wednesday.

The reigning MVP has struggled in back-to-back games as the Warriors dropped their second in a row and now face a 3-1 series deficit to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

Following a spotty 6-for-20 shooting performance in Game 4 that included six turnovers, it was reported that Curry was playing at 70 percent, at best. Kerr went on to shoot down that report.

"Nobody has told me that he's 70 percent," he said.

Curry took ownership for his struggles following the loss, and admits he needs to play better.

"The last two games, it's gotten away from us," Curry said. "A lot of that falls on my shoulders and playing better."

The 28-year-old missed six games earlier this postseason with a sprained right ankle and Grade 1 MCL knee sprain.
