Draymond gives media free pass to blast him

Kyle Terada / USA TODAY Sports

Draymond Green has personally left the door wide open for criticism following his dreadful performance in Game 4.

He fully believes he deserves it.

"You have a free pass to blast me," Green told Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN. "You have a free pass. I was f---ing awful."

Green scored six points - on 1-of-7 shooting - to go with 11 rebounds and six turnovers as the Golden State Warriors dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season, with a 118-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.

The outing marked the second straight poor performance for Green, who has shot 2-of-16 from the field over the Warriors' last two losses. He had vowed to be better in Game 4 following a dreadful Game 3 in which he managed just six points and four turnovers, but failed to bounce back.

"I think this is the first time in my life that I didn't respond to critics," Green said.

Golden State now needs to win out in order to advance to the NBA finals, as they find themselves trailing the Thunder 3-1.
