Curry: 'This isn't how we're going to go out'

The Golden State Warriors are in uncharted territory.

Losers of back-to-back games for the first time this season, Golden State finds itself facing elimination in the Western Conference finals, trailing 3-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder after falling 118-94 on Tuesday.

While history is not on their side - only nine teams have come back from that deficit - Warriors All-Star guard Stephen Curry isn't about to write his team off.

"The series isn't over," Curry told reporters following the loss. "We've got to believe in ourselves. There's obviously frustration. It's a terrible feeling once again not stepping up and being ourselves and playing our game.

"But I think we're a special team. This isn't how we're going to go out."

The Warriors, who won an NBA record 73 regular-season games, have dropped three games in eight days and need to win out in order to keep their season alive.

"This is all or nothing," Draymond Green said. "We've put in too much work to go out like this. I wouldn't be able to live with myself all summer going out like this. I'm not sure what it is, but whatever it is, gotta do it."

After splitting the first two games at home, Golden State lost twice in Oklahoma City by a combined 52 points. During those losses, Curry has struggled offensively shooting 13-for-37 (35 percent) and 5-of-21 from 3-point range.

"I'll be better and understand the moment in those situations where the momentum can swing either way," said Curry. "The last two games, it's gotten away from us. A lot of that falls on my shoulders and playing better."
