Durant says Curry makes bad shots

Kevin Durant recognizes that one of Stephen Curry's greatest weapons is his ability to make the unorthodox shot.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star had a first-row seat to some of Curry's magic in Game 2 Wednesday night when the Golden State Warriors All-Star guard scored 15 straight points in a two-minute span in the third quarter.

Durant acknowledged after the 118-91 loss that Curry is a difficult defensive assignment due to his ability to make shots others might not even think of taking.

"He makes bad shots," Durant told reporters. "You know, he makes those shots. And sometimes you gotta just put a hand up and contest, and when you pick-and-roll, try to put a couple bodies on him. But he made some tough ones."

Durant also went on to say that the Thunder can't just focus all their attention on the reigning back-to-back MVP, as the Warriors' supporting cast is more than capable of putting points up.

"Yeah, they got other players on the court, you know, and we gotta be aware of everybody," Durant said.

After taking Game 1 on the road, the Thunder dropped Game 2 and head back to Oklahoma City with a 1-1 series tie. Game 3 goes Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
