Kings' James Anderson: Declines player option
Anderson has declined his $1.13 million player option with the Kings for the 2016-17 season, Eric Pincus of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
Anderson joins Seth Curry as Kings players opting out of their deals in pursuit of a bigger payday on the open market. The veteran swingman averaged just 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 51 appearances last season, and was out of coach George Karl's rotation for a good chunk of the campaign. He'll likely have to settle for a one- or two-year deal with limited guaranteed money.
