The Orlando Magic have officially begun their head coaching search following Scott Skiles' sudden resignation earlier this month.

Magic lead assistant Adrian Griffin interviewed for the vacant position on Tuesday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Griffin has spent the last eight seasons as an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and most recently the Magic, since retiring from the NBA. Griffin is highly regarded around the association, ranking as one of the league's top assistants in last year's NBA.com's GM Survey.

The Magic have reportedly also reached out to ex-Indiana Pacers bench boss Frank Vogel, and are considering former Phoenix Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek, and former Magic interim coach James Borrego.
