Warriors' Bogut will play in Game 1 against Thunder

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Originally listed as questionable with a right adductor strain, Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut will play in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Bogut left Game 5 of the West semifinals with the injury after eight minutes of action and didn't return.

Head coach Steve Kerr said Monday evening that he believed the 7-foot Aussie would suit up for the Warriors, but wouldn't fully commit until after the pregame warmups.

Festus Ezeli would have gotten the start at the five if Bogut couldn't go.

The former No. 1 overall pick is averaging 5.1 points and seven rebounds on 64.9 percent shooting in 10 postseason games.
