Report: Bucks to interview Higgins, Zanik for front-office job

The Milwaukee Bucks will meet with two candidates this week about a front-office position, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

Utah Jazz assistant general manager Justin Zanik and former Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets president Rod Higgins will interview for the job.

The role is most likely that of assistant GM under John Hammond, a position that's been vacant all season, after the Bucks declined to renew David Morway's contract last summer.

Higgins resigned his post in Charlotte in 2014 after owner Michael Jordan rejiggered the team's power structure and conferred a number of Higgins' responsibilities on general manager Rich Cho.

Zanik has served in his role with the Jazz since 2013, and before that he spent 10 years as a player agent with ASM Sports.
