Raptors' DeMar DeRozan: Impact scorer in Game 7 win
DeRozan scored 28 points (12-29 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-7 FT) to go with eight rebounds and one assist in 35 minutes during Sunday's 116-89 Game 7 win over the Heat.
Analysis:
The swingman came out aggressive in Sunday's decisive game, attempting his second-highest total of field-goal attempts this postseason and finishing behind only Kyle Lowry in scoring on Sunday. DeRozan endured an up-and-down opening round series versus the Pacers, but he achieved a little more consistency versus the Heat, posting averages of 22.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He's still shooting a paltry 35 percent from the field through 14 postseason games, and will likely need to improve upon his efficiency in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavaliers.
