Hornets' Kemba Walker: Undergoes surgery on meniscus
Walker underwent successful surgery Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Analysis:
It's unclear when exactly Walker sustained the injury, but he struggled throughout the Hornets' first-round series loss to the Heat. Walker averaged 22.7 points and four assists, but shot just 36.6 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three-point range. In the deciding Game 7, Walker was limited to only nine points (3-16 FG) in 36 minutes. According to a team release, Walker will rest and rehab for roughly two months with the goal of returning to full basketball activities sometime in July.
