Warriors' Klay Thompson: Pours in 35 in Game 3 loss

Thompson scored 35 points (14-28 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added a rebound, an assist, a steal, and a block over 38 minutes in Saturday's 120-108 Game 3 semifinal round loss to the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

The 26-year-old stepped up with his second performance of 30 points or more in the series, taking one of the lead roles on offense in Stephen Curry's (knee) stead. As he had in Game 1, Thompson was able to drain half of his shots, and is averaging 33.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal to date in the series.
