Warriors' Festus Ezeli: Doesn't play in Game 1 win

Ezeli (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Sunday's 118-106 Game 1 win over the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Ezeli hasn't looked like himself since returning from arthroscopic knee surgery in early April, as he had averaged just 3.5 points (on 45.7% shooting from the field), 3.6 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks across 8.9 minutes in his first 11 games back. It's too early to say if Ezeli has been phased out of the rotation, but it's not encouraging that his primary competition for court time off the bench -- Anderson Varejao (seven minutes) and Marreese Speights (eight minutes) -- both played in Game 1.
