When an NBA player gets his name dropped on a track by Canadian rapper Drake, it usually provides the Midas touch for a solid season, or at least one which exceeds expectations.

Drake's fourth studio album, "Views," has a song entitled "Weston Road Flows," which has a verse showing love to Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Kevin Durant:

A lot of people just hit me up when my name is mentioned. Shout out to K.D. we relate we get the same attention.

"It's a good, nice song," Durant said on Monday morning at Thunder shootaround. "Much more than my name drop but it's a good song.

"It kind of surprised me. When your favorite rapper puts your name in a song, it makes you feel like you made it."

Drake and Durant are good friends, with "The Champagne Papi" even landing the Toronto Raptors a $25,000 fine for openly recruiting him during an OVO concert two years ago.
