Report: Pacers, Vogel have yet to discuss contract extension
Not many people expected the Indiana Pacers to win 45 games and push the No. 2-seeded Toronto Raptors to a Game 7, but even after a season of overachieving, head coach Frank Vogel's job status appears to be in limbo.
Vogel, whose contract is set to expire, has reportedly not had discussions with the organization regarding a possible extension, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Pacers president Larry Bird didn't seem too keen on discussing the matter with the media following Sunday's Game 7 loss.
I just asked Larry Bird: What happens to Frank Vogel - is he back next year? Bird: “Come on, man, the game just ended.” And he walked off.

In five-plus seasons at the helm, Vogel has led the Pacers to a 250-81 record, five playoff appearances, a pair of visits to the Eastern Conference finals, and five postseason-series victories overall.
