Ginobili: Spurs worried about complacency after Game 1 romp

Kevin Durant was in no mood to share his feelings after his Oklahoma City Thunder got obliterated by the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of their second-round series, but Spurs guard Manu Ginobili wasn't shy.

His answer, though, was a little surprising.

"After a game like that, you are worried," Ginobili said Sunday, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.

Worried? After a game like that? A game in which the Spurs shot 61 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range, led by as many as 43 without ever trailing, and coasted to a 124-92 win while resting their starters for the entirety of the fourth quarter?

"The tendency is to be satisfied," Ginobili explained, "so you got to worry about the next one."

That's not totally illogical, but it makes one wonder: If worry is what the Spurs are feeling right now, what kind of emotions did Durant leave unsaid Saturday night?

Maybe it's best he didn't tell.
